Theatro Introduces Leading Voice-Controlled Mobile Platform to the Gaming Workforce at NIGA 2019

The company will demonstrate new casino integration capabilities at Konami booth #2131

DALLAS – April 1, 2019
Theatro, pioneers of the world’s first voice-controlled mobile platform for the hourly workforce, today announced that it will demonstrate its casino integration capabilities with Konami Gaming, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of slot machines and casino management systems, at booth #2131 at the National Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention, April 1-4, 2019 in San Diego.

Theatro and Konami will showcase how Theatro’s voice-controlled platform and integrated applications provide real-time communication between Konami’s SYNKROS® core gaming system and casino employees enabling an incredible guest experience.  The combined SYNKROS and Theatro platforms can automate employee notifications in order to quickly identify and respond to players’ loyalty status, betting behaviors, location at a machine,  and more. Ultimately, team members can then provide personalized greetings, fulfill their guests desires faster and create a differentiated, more engaging gaming experience.

“Theatro is a striking change for the gaming industry” said Jay Bertsch, Vice President, Global Systems Sales, Konami Gaming, Inc. “Integrating Theatro’s Intelligent Assistant and voice-controlled apps with SYNKROS allows our customers to make their operations increasingly intelligent and personalized, elevating the guest experience.”

This is achieved by providing every employee with a discrete, voice-controlled IoT device connecting them to their co-workers, to casino management, and to gaming systems. Team members who are enabled with this latest innovation in voice-technology and SYNKROS are able to:

  • Satisfy customer requests faster and improve player convenience, ensuring loyal patron retention.
  • Provide white-glove personalized service to high-value players in their exact moment of need creating memorable experiences
  • Ensure maximum business profitability and efficiency through automated in-ear notifications of large buy-ins, wins, and losses.

“We’re thrilled to work with a technology provider of Konami’s caliber to offer gaming operators a platform with unrivaled ability to engage guests and improve the overall floor experience,” said Chris Todd, CEO, Theatro. “We’re ushering in a new era of technological advancements in casinos that empowers team members to transform the typical guest experience from ordinary to effortlessly exceptional.”
