Chris Todd | President & CEO
Chris is responsible for leading Theatro’s overall direction, strategy, and growth plans. Chris is a “rollup your sleeves” type leader who is passionate about the strategy of a business. Chris believes that most every idea can be a winner…it’s all about figuring out the strategy angles to drive success! As a co-founder, Chris has been instrumental in guiding Theatro from an early innovative concept into a fast paced growth company.
Chris has 25+ years of experience in senior executive positions with small start-ups and large multinationals in a diverse array of industries, including software, networking and apps for leading hardware and software companies including Cisco Systems, AppTrigger, Metaswitch, Extreme Networks and Newbridge Networks. Chris graduated with a BBA from SMU.
Ravi Shankar Kumar | CTO/SVP of Engineering
Ravi is well known in the technology development community as someone who will never back away from a challenge. Ravi has a passion for leading his team by showing them the way…never asking someone to do something he is not prepared to do himself.
Ravi brings more than 15 years of startup experience and thought leadership in designing and developing highly scalable cloud based solutions for some of today’s most demanding environments. As a co-founder of Theatro, Ravi is responsible for our overall solution architecture, managing the day-to-day development team activities and leading our key innovation projects. Prior to Theatro, he held senior R&D leadership positions at Kodiak Networks, Rapid5 Networks and Ishoni Networks and holds multiple US patents. Ravi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronics and communications from Bangalore University.
Patrick Fitzgerald | Executive Vice President
Often the man behind the scenes, Patrick is an incredibly valuable member of our founding team thanks to his knack for bringing a sense of order to chaos. Driven by his passion to “organize the world”, Patrick is responsible for Marketing, Customer Support, and various aspects of our Operations functions.
Patrick has over 15 years of broad experience in various high tech fields including Telecom, Data Networking and Cloud Computing. Patrick has held a variety of sales, operations and marketing leadership roles for established as well as start-up companies including Metaswitch, AppTrigger, Siemens, Efficient Networks and Compaq. Patrick holds a BS in Political Science from the University of North Texas.
Guy R. VanBuskirk | SVP Business Development
As an impassioned advocate for a better customer experience in retail, Guy’s early vision and tenacity helped form the nucleus of what is now Theatro. As a founder, Guy has worn almost every hat at Theatro and is now responsible for business development activities including initial customer trials and engagements.
During the prior 25 years, Guy has built and led professional support organizations by developing and implementing best in class processes and measurements. Guy was the founding Vice President of Services at Ciena and Force10 Networks and led global professional teams at 3Com. Guy holds a degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech as well as an Executive MBA from MIT-Sloan School of Management.
David MacGrandle | CFO & VP of Operations
David brings over 28 years of financial and operational leadership to Theatro for his role as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Vazata where he guided the company’s growth from entrepreneurial start-up to a mid-sized hosting and colocation provider. He was previously Chief Financial Officer at Fusepoint where he played a significant role in Fusepoint’s exponential profitable growth eventually leading to its $124.5 million acquisition by Savvis (CenturyLink). Prior to Fusepoint, he was Chief Financial Officer of Masergy Communications. David held executive positions at EDS, CapRock Communications and Excel Communications where he was responsible in various roles for strategic planning, operations, corporate development, business development and controllership. Mr. MacGrandle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Texas, and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He holds an MBA and MSMAS from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a BS degree in Applied Mathematical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
Adam Silverman | SVP Marketing
Adam has extensive experience innovating and operating multichannel retail businesses. For nearly 20 years, he has held eCommerce and marketing leadership positions for top tier retailers such as Musician’s Friend, Target, and Wet Seal. During that time, he led significant digital transformation projects including selection and integration of enterprise commerce applications, created award winning digital shopping experiences including the first social commerce application, and developed effective brand strategies.
As Principal Analyst at Forrester, Adam drove research and thought leadership of in-store technologies and strategies, and has been featured as a retail technology thought leader on NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Internet Retailer. Adam grew up on Long Island NY. and holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has also studied International Business in the UK at University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
Verlin Youd | SVP Global Sales
Verlin is a recognized industry solutions expert with deep experience across all aspects of retail and related enterprise technologies. Verlin has spent the last 20+ years leading teams working with the world’s leading retailers, holding positions in sales, marketing, product management, partner strategy, and software development. He’s worked in start-ups to Fortune 10 organizations, including Verizon, SCOPIX, SAP, Motorola, Symbol Technologies, IBM and Systech Retail Solutions.
Verlin has been a speaker and panelist at numerous industry events and has been quoted in industry and business publications. He brings a rich global sensibility having lived in four countries (US, UK, Haiti, and Canada) and having worked in 30 more to deliver value to retail enterprises. He is active in his local community as well as the retail industry community, including the Retail Orphan Initiative and their efforts in Haiti. He holds a BS in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
